Key Switch (No Steering Lock) Key Switch (No Steering Lock)
e ignition key (A)(A) is used to supply power from the bat-
tery to the electrical components of the motorcycle. Turn
the switch to the “OFF” position (B)(B) when you are nished
riding, or if you wish to stop the engine.

Fuel Filler Cap Fuel Filler Cap
To Open: Turn the cap (A)(A) counter-clockwise.
To Close: Turn the cap clockwise, make sure the breather
tube
(B)(B) is installed.
Gear Shi Lever Gear Shi Lever
e gear shi lever (A)(A) is on the le side of the engine. e
gear positions are shown in the illustration on the le. (vari-
able shi pattern, depending on your engine. Check decal
axed on the engine.)
Foot Brake Lever (Rear Brake) Foot Brake Lever (Rear Brake)
e rear brake lever (A)(A) is located on the right side of the en-
gine near the foot rest. Its basic operation is to apply the rear
brake (press down slowly) to slow or stop the motorcycle.
