5. Remove the seat assembly and the two steering levers from the mower rst, and then remove the battery/charger
boxes from the bottom frame if they are included with the mower (Fig. 6).

6. Remove and set aside all accessible packaging and wrap. Do not discard the packing material until you have
carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.
7. If a ramp is available, position a full-width ramp against the bottom frame, close to the front wheel (Fig.7). Do not
exceed the maximum recommend operating angle of 15°.
8. Release the parking-brake pedal from the braking position. Refer to section “PARKING BRAKE SETTING” in this
manual.
NOTE: A signicant effort is required to release the parking-break pedal by hand. Push hard.
