Stopping
the
engine
on
the
ground
Before
stopping
the
engine,
let
the
cylinder
head
temperature
fall
down
to
150.
.
.175°C
(300.
.
,350°F)
when
idling.
Turn
off
the
electric
instru
ments
and
the
electric
fuel
pump.
The
engine
is
stopped
by
switching
off
the
ignition.
The
decompression
valves
must
not
be
used
when
the
ignition
is
on.
Note:
The
engine
should
be
kept
in
retracted
position.

Outlanding
Outlandings
should
be
done
as
on
a
normal
airfield.
If
the
engine
is
going
to
be
extended
on
the
downwind
leg,
the
landing
circuit
initial
height
should
be
more
than
300
m
(1000
ft).

Aerobatics
Even
though
PIK-20
E
is
not
especially
designed
for
aerobatics,
the
fol
lowing

are
approved
with
the
recommended
entry
speeds
listed
