Result measuring channel 1 and measuring channel 2:
Displays the result for the measured parameter.
The annex "G" or "L" indicates the measured parameter
(G – glucose / L – lactate).
"+" or "-" behind the unit signalizes that the value has exceeded or
fallen below the warning limits (see section 9.4, page 35).
"+++" or "−−−" instead of a value signalizes a value higher or lower
than the measurement range (see section 14, page 51).
"***" instead of a value signalizes that the sample could not be
measured correctly, hence no value could be determined.
Barcode (optional, only C_line Clinic):
Shows the barcode read for this sample position.
7.4 Quality control
EKF-diagnostic GmbH recommends regular performance of quality
control measurements, unless local laws, guidelines and orders will
demand it anyway.
EKF-diagnostic GmbH offers different control materials (see section
16.1, page 54). For handling the control material refer to the respective
operating instructions. It is recommended to use EasyCon norm and
EasyCon pat for daily control.
The measurement of controls is carried out on positions C1 und C2 (see
Section 3 (5,6), page 7). If the control positions are equipped, they are
measured and evaluated after every successful calibration. If control
measurements are not desired after every calibration, the controls must
be removed from the positions C1 and C2.
The control value limits, as well as the action taken in case of range
violation, can be set under menu item Warning limits (9.4, page 35).
7.5 Urgent samples (STAT)
An inserted urgent sample is automatically recognized by the device,
indicated on the STAT button by a checkmark and processed as quickly
as possible. Depending on the calibration mode, in the Ready state the
calibration of the device takes place first.
After processing the urgent sample the checkmark disappears. If the
urgent sample should be processed again, the STAT button must be
