Bass support for hi-fi loudspeakers
In this example stereo loudspeakers receive the full frequency signal directly from the amplifier, with the subwoofer
giving support in the low bass. As a rule, the subwoofer’s crossover frequency should not be set too low. This en-
sures a substantial overlap with the main speakers and at the same time maintains moderate subwoofer levels. Es-
pecially here the optimization of the phase is important.
