Use RCA cables to connect the subwoofer to a hi-fi system or home cinema set. The following options will give an
idea of different applications. Careful consideration should be given to the user’s manuals of the AV amplifier and the
loudspeakers used in the set-up.
Digital home cinema set
On many surround amplifiers you will find a specific output (BASS / SUB OUT / LFE) for the connection of an active
subwoofer. This mono signal is connected to the left line input (LINE IN L) of the subwoofer. Since, in this configura-
tion, the subwoofer only receives bass signals from the system, the crossover frequency at the subwoofer should be
set at the maximum value (160 Hz).
