6 Fuse switch
If a new fuse is required, only fuses with ratings stated on the rear panel may be used.
NOTE: All-pole (galvanic) isolation of the ELAC subwoofer from the mains is only assured by taking out
the mains plug! Please isolate the subwoofer from the mains before changing the fuse.
7 BALANCED LEVEL IN L / R (only available with SUB 2080 D)
This XLR sockets are designed for connecting the ELAC subwoofer to the symmetrical stereo outputs of a signal
source. Two symmetrical mono-NF cables with XLR plug and socket are used for this connection. During operation
(operating mode set to “AUTO”) these plugs should not be plugged in or pulled out.
8 BALANCED LEVEL OUTL / R (only available with SUB 2080 D)
These XLR sockets are designed for connecting an amplifier or active loudspeakers. If the input signal is fed to the
SUB 2080 D via the two “BALANCED LEVEL IN” sockets, then these signals can be filtered with a circuit contained
in the SUB 2080 D and relayed to the amplifier of the HiFi speakers or active loudspeaker. Two symmetrical mono-
NF cables with XLR plug and socket are used for this connection.
