Additional Rinse/RINSE+ (Spülen+, Rinçage+)
The washing machine is set for extremely economi-
cal water consumption. However, for persons who
suffer from allergies, it can be helpful to rinse with
more water.

When this function is set, an additional rinse
is performed with the programs COTTONS/
LINEN (Koch-/Buntwäsche, Couleurs),
EASY-CARES (Pflegeleicht, Textiles
Melanges)/EASY IRON (Leichtbügeln, Fâcile
à Repasser) and DELICATES (Feinwäsche,
Délicat).
No additional rinse is set when the unit is
delivered.
Set Additional Rinse:
1. Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN
(Schonschleudern, Essorage Délicat).
2. Keep the button SOAKING (Einweichen, Trem-
page) for at least 5 seconds.
After the button has been pressed for 5 seconds,
RINSE+ (Spülen+, Rinçage+) flashes on the pro-
gram sequence display for 5 seconds.
3. While RINSE
+ (Spülen+, Rinçage+) is flashing,
release the button SOAKING (Einweichen, Trem-
page).
After the flashing stops, the additional rinse is set.
It is set until it is canceled again.
When the additional rinse is set, the indicator
RINSE
+ (Spülen+, Rinçage+) lights up on the pro-
gram sequence disply before the program start and
during the additional rinse.
4. If you want to check whether the additional rinse
is set:
– Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN
(KORT CENTRIFUG., ESSOR. DELICAT).
– Briefly press the button SOAKING (Ein-
weichen, Trempage).
The additional rinse is set if RINSE
+ (Spülen+,
Rinçage+) flashes on the program sequence
display.
Cancel Additional Rinse:
1. Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN
(Schonschleudern, Essorage Délicat).
2. Keep the button SOAKING (Einweichen, Trem-
page) pressed for at least 5 seconds.
As soon as the button is pressed, RINSE
+
(Spülen+, Rinçage+) flashes on the program
sequence display. After 5 seconds, RINSE
+
(Spülen+, Rinçage+) stops flashing and lights up
constantly for a further 5 seconds.
3. While RINSE
+ (Spülen+, Rinçage+) lights up con-
stantly, release the button SOAKING (Einweichen,
Trempage).
After RINSE
+ (Spülen+, Rinçage+) has stopped
lighting up, the additional rinse is cancelled.

An additional rinse increases water con-
sumption and the program run time.
Solution Cooling
It may be necessary to cool down the washing solu-
tion before pumping off in order to avoid thermal
damage to plastic drainage pipes.

The washing solution is cooled down at the
end of the main washing cycle before pump-
ing off (by incoming cold water).
(This setting is only effective for COTTONS/
LINEN (Koch-/Buntwäsche, Couleurs) at
temperatures of over 40 °C.)
No solution cooling is set when the unit is
delivered.
Set the Solution Cooling:
1. Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN
(Schonschleudern, Essorage Délicat).
2. Keep the button PRE WASH (Vorwäsche, Prélav-
age) pressed for at least 5 seconds.
After the button has been pressed for 5 seconds,
MAIN WASH (Hauptwäsche, Lavage) flashes on
the program sequence display for 5 seconds.
3. While MAIN WASH (Hauptwäsche, Lavage) is
flashing, release the button PRE WASH (Vor-
wäsche, Prélavage).
After the flashing has stopped, the solution cool-
ing is set. It is set until it is cancelled again.
4. If you want to check whether the solution cooling
is set:
– Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN
(Schonschleudern, Essorage Délicat).
– Briefly press the button PRE WASH (Vor-
wäsche, Prélavage).
If MAIN WASH (Hauptwäsche, Lavage) flashes
on the program sequence display, the solution
cooling is set.
