Fault information and a guide for when you should call for service
The following messages appear on the LCD screen of your washing machine if a problem has been diagnosed.
Fault Display messages are shown on the left hand display screen.
The display is accompanied by ‘Beeping’ as shown in the Beeping column.
Fault display left screen Beeping Problem Action to take
The machine cannot fill.
Please turn on wall taps
and then press
START/PAUSE. The
machine will then resume
operation
Beeping
continuously
Not filling with
water
Make sure both wall taps are on, and hose filters not
blocked.
Raise drain hose if water owing out of drain hose.
Press Start/Pause to re-start wash.
If problem remains, call Service.
Flood. Is there water
pouring into the bowl?
YES --> Turn off wall taps
and machine. Call Service.
NO --> Wait for this fault to
self-clear
Beeping
continuously
Water is not
turning off
If water is pouring onto the floor, turn both wall taps
OFF. Wait a few minutes to see if fault is corrected - if
not, call Service.
Draining difculty Beeping
5 secs in
every
10 secs
Water not
draining
correctly
The pump will switch off and on repeatedly to clear any
blockage.
Wait a few minutes to see if the fault is corrected.
If not, press Start/Pause then check the drain hose for
blockage. Press Start/Pause to continue wash.
If problem remains, call Service.
The machine cannot do a
wash. Call Service
Beeping
5 secs in
every 10 secs
Control panel
not functioning
properly
Press Power button to turn machine off machine.
Restart the machine.
If problem still exists, call Service.
The motor cannot run.
Select DRAIN&SPIN and
press START/PAUSE
to drain water from bowl,
then call Service.
OR
The motor cannot run.
Select DRAIN&SPIN to
drain water from bowl,
then call Service.
Beeping
5 secs in
every 10 secs
Faults related to
motor & drive
system
Wait, the problem may self clear.
If not, select DRAIN&SPIN to drain water from bowl. You
may have to press Start/Pause to commence draining.
If this problem is repeatedly experienced, call Service.
Level sensor fault.
Select DRAIN&SPIN and
press START/PAUSE to
drain water from bowl,
then power down, then
call Service.
Beeping
continuously
Water level
sensor not
operating
correctly
The machine will only permit draining.
Select DRAIN&SPIN, then press Start/Pause to drain
water from machine.
When empty, press Power to switch off machine and
call Service.
