Drain connection
• Connect a 75 mm (2 1/2") flexible rubber hose
to the machine’s drain pipe, ensuring a down-
ward flow from the machine. Avoid sharp
bends, which may prevent proper drainage.
• There should be an air-gap of 50 mm between
the drain hose and the drain.
• Make sure that the drain hose is sufficiently
flexible so that it does not cause problems
related to the scale system.
• Pipes made from PVC or similar materials
may not be connected to the machine due to
the load cells.
• The drainage hose should be located over a
floor drain, drainage channel or similar so that
the distance between the outlet and the drain
is at least 25 mm (1").
• Checkthattheamountofsupplywateratthe
water connection to the reference machine is
sufficient and compliant with the specifica-
tion in the standard (15 ± 2 litre) and that the
amount can be maintained at all times. The
water pressure at the intake of the machine
may never fall below 100kPa.
• Checkthatthepowersupplyiscompliantwith
the voltage specified on the reference machi-
ne data label and within the tolerances of the
standard (± 2%) .
• Makesurethatthepowersupplycanmaintain
the required voltage level whilst the reference
machine is heating.
