Problem
Ice maker is not

Cause
= Icemaker power switch is Off.
• Water supply isnot connected
to refrigerator.
Household water line valveis
not open.
Freezerisnot cold enough.
Valveon cold water pipe
is clogged or restricted by
foreign material. If valve is of
the self-piercing type, it may
not have created a sufficiently
sized hole in tube for water to
passthrough.
Checkto see ifthe water
dispenser is dispensing water.
Water filter is not completely
seated.
Icemaker is producing less
ice than you expect.
Freezerisnot cold enough.
Household water line valveis
not completely open.
Checkto see ifwater
dispenser is dispensing
slower than normal.
Icemaker wire signal arm
is being held down by some
item inthe freezer.
Icecubes are not being used
frequently enough.
Icecubes are hollow or
smaller than normal.
Icehas picked up odor or
flavor from strong food stored
in refrigerator or freezer.
Icenot usedfrequentlyenough.
Correction
Turn on power switch.
Connectwater supply (see Installation Instructions).
Turn on householdwater line valve.
See Problem section, TemperaturesAreTooWarm.
Turn off household water linevalve.Removevalve. Ensurethat
valve isnot a self-piercing valve. Cleanvalve. Replacevalve if
necessary.
If not, the ice & waterfilter cartridge is clogged or restricted,
and must bereplaced.
Push firmly until the waterfilter snaps into place (you should
heartwo clicks).
Icemaker should produceapproximately 4-5 pounds of ice
every 24 hours. Fast Ice should produce up to 6 pounds of ice
every 24 hours.

Turn on householdwater line valve.
If it is, replacethe ice & waterfilter cartridge.
Move item and releasewire signal arm. Removeany icecubes
frozen together over wire signal arm.
Removeand shake icebin to separatecubes.
The ice& water filter cartridge may beclogged. Replacefilter
cartrid e.
Coverfoods tightly. Discard stale ice. Ice makerwill produce
fresh supply.
Discard stale ice.
