9.4 Starting the engine
Caution:
Never start the machine when dust has settled on the engine or between its coo-
ling fins. It reduces proper cooling of the engine and can cause a fire.
Warning:
The blade axle spins as soon as the engine engages and the operation handle is
pulled towards the handlebar. Make sure that the operation handle is not pressed
when starting the engine. If ever control over the machine’s operation is lost, the
quickest way to stop the blade axle is by releasing the operation handle

manual.

If this has not been done when going through the checklist, always check the engine for ade-
quate oil and fuel levels before starting it.
