b) Batteries and accumulators
•Keepbatteries/accumulatorsoutofthereachofchildren.
•Makesuretoinsertthebatteries/accumulatorswiththe
correct polarity.
•Donotleavethebatterieslyingaroundintheopen;there
is a risk of them being swallowed by children or pets. If
swallowed, immediately contact a doctor.
•Leakingordamagedbatteries/accumulatorsmaycause
burning if they come into contact with the skin. For this
reason you should use suitable protective gloves when
handling batteries.
•Donotshort-circuitbatteries/accumulators,anddonot
throw batteries/accumulators into a fire. There is a risk of
explosion!
•Donotdisassemblebatteries/accumulators!
•Donotrechargenormalbatteries.Thereisariskofexplo-
sion!
•In case of longer periods of non-use (e.g. during stor-
age) remove the inserted batteries/accumulators to avoid
damage by a leaking battery/accumulator.
5. Inserting the batteries into the
„FHT8R“ heating control
•Slidedownandremovethewallholderonthebackofthe
heating control.
•Slidedownandremovethecoverofthebatterycompart-
ment (in direction of the imprinted arrow on the cover).
•Insert two LR6 (Mignon/AA) batteries; pay attention to
the correct polarity. Look into the battery compartment
for an illustration of the correct polarity.
