• Screw the right-hand pedal (marked «R»
on the pedal shaft) clockwise.
• Screw the left pedal (mark «L» on the
pedal shaft) counter-clockwise.
3.2 Pedals
To install your pedals, simply follow these steps:
The recommended torque is 35 Nm. Adding a small amount of assembly grease to the threads
of each pedal can simplify this operation (available from DIY or bike shops).

3.3 Tightening check
3.4 Brake honing
Before using the bike for the rst time, make sure the wheels, stem and brakes (levers, calipers
and discs) are tight.
A break-in period is necessary for your new
brakes to deliver their full power.
Badly broken-in brake pads could lead to poor
braking and may generate noise.
The break-in consists of a succession of
progressive and brief braking operations,
without locking the wheels (do not make long
and light braking operations).
• First, check the tightness of the front and
rear wheels.
• Then carry out a series of brake
applications with the rear brake (one
brake after the other must be run in):
1. Ride the bike at a moderate speed
(between 15 and 20 km/h).
2. Brake hard with the rear brake only
until about 5 km/h.
3. Repeat the operation 10 times (you
will see an improvement in braking).
• Do the same for the front brake.
3. Assembly
3.1 Handlebars
Follow the steps below to straighten it:
1. Slightly loosen the 4 screws on the screen
to allow it to be rotated back and forth.
2. Tilt the screen forward to access the rst 2
screws of the stem.
(Figure 1)
Unscrew these slightly.
3. Tilt the screen back to access the other 2
screws on the stem.
(Figure 2)
Unscrew these slightly.
4. Adjust the tilt of the handlebars according
to your height and the position you want to
achieve when using the bike. By default, we
recommend that the handlebars are placed
in line with the head tube.
(Figure 3).
5. Once the position has been determined,
tighten the 4 screws to hold the handlebars
in position.
6. Finally, reposition the screen to the desired
angle and tighten the 4 screws.
When you receive your YUVY, the handlebars are folded in on themselves.
NOTE
For optimal ergonomics you can also adjust the
angle of the brake levers: the axis of the ngers
on the brake lever should be in line with the axis
of the arm.
