4. Maintenance of components
4.1 Battery
The battery is the heart of the YUVY. By following a few simple rules, you can extend its life.
Here are some tips:
Factors that shorten life
High demand
Storage at temperatures above 30°C
Prolonged storage in a fully charged or
discharged state
Electric bike parked in the sun
Low temperature start-up (<5°C)
Factors that prolong life
Reduced demand
Storage at a temperature between 0 and
20°C
Storage with a load level between 30
and 60%
Electric bikes parked in the shade or in
cool rooms
4.2 Wheels
Tyres
We have equipped the YUVY with high
performance, reinforced tyres to reduce the
risk of punctures.
Check your wheel tread regularly.
Maintenance of a tyre requires :
Healthy rims and rim bottoms in good
condition.
Correct tyre pressure. To do this, refer to
the operating ranges on the side of the
tyre. You do not need to inate the tyre
to the maximum value indicated, but
rather according to the level of comfort/
performance you want. Good inated
tyres will reduce the risk of a puncture
and preserve your battery life.
Do not exceed the maximum pressure
indicated on the tyre side, otherwise
there is a risk of the tyre bursting. If the
pressure is too low, there is a risk of a
pinch puncture.
Check and remove foreign objects that
may get into the tyre surface frequently.
3. Tightening torque
