1. Use of original parts
2. Cleaning and lubrication
• To ensure the reliability of your bike, it
is essential to tighten the screws of the
components carefully and to check them
regularly.
• Use a torque spanner to check
these values. Tighten gradually so
that the torque does not exceed the
recommended value.
• Do not exceed the maximum tightening
torque under any circumstances.
• For some components, the recommended
torque values are indicated on the
component itself. Please observe these
values.
• You can wash your bike with soapy water
(washing-up liquid is recommended for
its strong degreasing power, without
being corrosive). Do not use a high
pressure cleaner!
• Before storing it properly, lubricate the
chain, derailer and cassette with suitable
products. Check the brakes for wear and
tear, the wheels for warping, and the
tightening of the brake calipers and discs
(front and rear wheels, etc.).
• For safety reasons, it is strongly
recommended to use original parts
for all critical components (braking,
transmission, wheels, electrical system,
motorisation...)
• The use of non-conforming parts with
your bike, as well as any modication
of the frame or equipment, may result in
risks for the user and a restriction of the
warranty.
