Setting up an installed storage system
Note: If your system includes additional DAE3P enclosures, do NOT
connect them to the back-end bus at this time. You will assign enclosure
addresses and complete DAE3P-to-DAE3P cabling in a later step.
Use SFP-HSSDC2 copper cables to attach the BE 0 port on each storage
processor to the corresponding PRI ports on the enclosure that
includes the specially marked "array software" disks (this should be
the first DAE3P above the SPE3).
Note: Make sure to orient the HSSDC2 connectors as shown in Figure 19. The
connector thumb clip faces up when connecting to LCC B, and down when
connecting to LCC A. An audible/tangible click indicates that the cable is
completely seated in the LCC connector.
