Configure unique enclosure addresses for each DAE2 unit in a loop for proper identification.
Connect multiple DAE2 units into Fibre Channel loops for data communication and redundancy.
Connect the DAE2 enclosure to the storage processing device using Fibre Channel cables.
Connect power cables to DAE2 power supplies and ensure proper electrical connections.
Power on the DAE2 units and initiate the startup sequence, checking status indicators.
Ensure facility electrical wiring supports cabinet power cables for DAE2 high-availability.
Verify the storage processing device is installed and set up before connecting DAE2.
Confirm EMC ControlCenter Navisphere Manager version 6.1 or higher is set up.
Install the DAE2 into an EMC standard cabinet if not already present.
