The ERTune™ Program: Basic Features
To add a Control Limit for the ER5000 to monitor
1. Enter a value in the Min or Max entry eld of the variable that
you wish to monitor and press the Tab key.
CAUTION
You must enter a value that is within the limits for the variable
you choose in order to activate it as a Control Limit.
The limits are:
Analog Setpoint: -12.12% – 111.97%
Internal Sensor: -12.12% – 111.97%
External Sensor: -12.12% – 111.97%
Internal Sensor: -12.12% – 111.97%
Inner Error: -124.08% – 124.08%
Outer Error: -124.08% – 124.08%
If you enter a value below the Min or above the Max limit, the
filed will immediately revert to the default value and will
revert to Disabled when you click out of the field.
2. To monitor for both minimum and maximum limits, enter
values in both elds.
IMPORTANT
IMPORTANT
When you click in an entry eld, the limit is
displayed as the default value. You must change this value or the eld
will revert to Disabled when you click out of it.
To remove a Control Limit
1. Enter a value that is beyond the limit for that eld. It will
revert to Disabled when you click out of the eld.
To remove all Control Limits
1. Click the Disable All button.
To change the Control Limit Condition
1. Select a different condition from the drop-down list.
