MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
MAINTENANCE
Service should be performed by a
service agency. An annual sys-
tem check is recommended. EMI units are
designed and constructed for reliability and
long life with minimal maintenance. To insure
peak operating efciency:
1. Clean air lter(s) on a monthly basis:
a) The lter(s) are accessed by remov-
ing the air intake access grille(s).
2. Remove the lter by carefully twisting and
lifting to clear the retaining clips.
4. Replace the lter
by sliding under re-
tainer clips.
5. Or use a garden
hose:
• Remove the grille and lter and
hose off.
• Let lter(s) and grille(s) dry before
replacing.
Turn the POWER OFF to the unit before
servicing or cleaning.
3. Lift the lter off the grille. Place lter on
a at surface and vacuum any away dust
and debris (vacuum all lters and grills),
also vacuum any accessible parts on
the unit.
6. The unit may be wiped with a damp cloth
when needed.
NOTE: Do not run the unit without the lter(s)
or the grille(s).
7. Be sure to replace lters and grill before
running the unit.
