Cleaning the circuit
It is recommended to clean the liquid circuit daily.
Cleaning is necessary to reduce crystalline deposits and the number of bacteria in the liquid circuit of
the unit; the following procedure achieves a 5 log reduction of target pathogens (using washing solutions
for cleaning the circuit as listed at the beginning of this manual):
1 Remove the instrument,
2 Pre-Cleaning the circuit during 20 seconds with distilled (or demineralized) water,
3 Cleaning the circuit during 20 seconds with an appropriate washing solution for washing the circuit
4 Allow the washing liquid to act for 5 minutes,
5 Rinse the circuit during 20 seconds with sterile water.
