1. Connectaterminaltothelocalconsoleportasdescribedin“ConnectingtoCOMPortfor
LocalManagement”onpage 3 ‐12.Thestartupscreen,Figure 3‐12,displays.
2. Attheloginprompt,enteroneofthefollowing
defaultusernames:
– roforRead‐Onlyaccess,
– rwforRead‐Writeaccess,or
– adminforSuperUseraccess.(ThisaccesslevelallowsRead‐Writeaccesstoallmodifiable
parameters,includinguseraccounts.)
3. PressEnter.
4. ThePasswordpromptdisplays.LeavethisstringblankandpressEnter.Themodule
informationand
MatrixpromptdisplaysasshowninFigure 3‐12.
