When the WELD PROCESS OUTPUT (01) is chosen, the third valve output will turn on
upon the application of welding voltage to the welding transformer. The output remains on
until the voltage is turned off to the weld transformer, at the completion of the schedule. In
SEAM Mode the output will turn on for WELD/HEAT and COOL Time.
If the WELD AND HOLD PROCESS OUTPUT (02) is chosen the output characteristics
are identical to the WELD PROCESS OUTPUT, except that the output is maintained
through HOLD Time.
When the HOLD PROCESS OUTPUT (03) is chosen, the third valve output will turn on
during HOLD Time. The output remains on until HOLD Time is over.
When the OFF PROCESS OUTPUT (04) is chosen, the third valve output will turn on
during OFF Time. The output remains on until OFF Time is over. Output is only valid in
repeat sequences.
When the AFTER OFF UNTIL NO INITIATION PROCESS OUTPUT (05) is chosen,
the third valve output will turn on after OFF TIME until the initiation is removed from
FS3,FS7 or FS11.
When the .5 SECONDS AFTER END OF SEQUENCE PROCESS OUTPUT (06) is
chosen, the third valve output will turn on when the sequence is complete. The third valve
output remains on for .5 seconds.
When the SPECIAL AIR OVER OIL RETRACTION PROCESS OUTPUT (07) IS
chosen, the third valve output will turn on at the end of BLOCKING DELAY time. This
output may be turned off by momentarily opening EMERGENCY STOP terminals TS1-ES1
& TS1-GND. When the 07 PROCESS OUTPUT is chosen two additional EXTENDED
FUNCTIONS, Sd and bL are automatically added. SQUEEZE DELAY (Sd) is a time before
SQUEEZE and is only active when the blocking valve is off. BLOCKING DELAY is a time
delay (after HOLD, coincident with OFF time, that happens only in a schedule that ends with
a 00 or 01 or 03 CYCLE mode) before valve three is energized. For more information see
EN1000 RETRACTION OPERATION part number 700111.
When the RETRACTION PROCESS OUTPUT (08) is chosen, the third valve output will
toggle when TS1-TLS1/AUX1 is momentarily closed to TS1-GND. The initiation of any
weld schedule is blocked when the third valve output is off. For more information see
EN1000 RETRACTION OPERATION part number 700111.
When the TEMPERATURE LIMIT SWITCH PROCESS OUTPUT (11) is chosen, the
third valve output will turn on when TEMPERATURE LIMIT SWITCH input TLS1 is open.
When the HARDWARE ERROR / CONTROL RELAY PROCESS OUTPUT (15) is
chosen, the third valve output will turn on when a Display/Control PCB error is detected.
When the CONTACTOR SHORT PROCESS OUTPUT (16) is chosen, the third valve
output will turn on when the weld contactor is found on when not instructed by the processor
to be on.
