What to do if main burner does not ignite in my Enviro FOCUS Indoor Fireplace?
    • J
      Jennifer PierceSep 12, 2025
If the main burner on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace fails to ignite, first, ensure the gas control knob is in the “ON” position. If the thermostat isn't calling for heat, adjust it several degrees above the room temperature. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the gas valve. Use a DC voltmeter to measure the voltage across the TPTH and TP terminals. The main operator voltage should be Open circuit ? 325mV, Closed circuit ? 100mV. If voltage isn't present, check the control circuit. If the correct voltage is present, consider replacing the gas control.

Why won't my Enviro FOCUS Indoor Fireplace burners remain lit?
    • S
      Shirley WarrenAug 21, 2025
If the burners on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, it could be a problem with the thermopile circuit. Check the gas line pressure and ensure there's proper flame impingement on the thermopile, referring to the 'Pilot will not remain lit' section if needed. Verify the thermopile reads a minimum of 300 mV when the burner is on. Also, inspect the thermostat wiring for any breaks. For BV models only, check for spillage at the draft hood that may trip the spill switch.

What to do if spark will not light the pilot in my Enviro Indoor Fireplace?
    • J
      Jennifer FrancoAug 25, 2025
If the spark isn't lighting the pilot on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace after repeatedly pressing the spark ignitor, check the connections to the ignitor. If connections are good but there's still no spark, replace the ignitor. Also, inspect the spark electrode for broken ceramic insulation; replace the electrode if it's broken. If the spark isn't arcing from the electrode to the pilot, loosen the screws on the pilot base, adjust, and then tighten them.

Why does my Enviro FOCUS flame lift?
    • S
      stephen41Aug 26, 2025
Flame lifting in your Enviro Indoor Fireplace can be caused by a leak in the vent pipe, so check for leaks in vent connections. It may also be due to an improper vent configuration, so check the vent configuration against the manual. Another potential cause is the terminal recirculating flue gases; ensure the terminal is installed correctly and consider installing a high wind termination cap. Contact your dealer for assistance.

What to do if pilot will not remain lit on my Enviro FOCUS Indoor Fireplace?
    • M
      monica76Aug 28, 2025
If the pilot light on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, first check the thermocouple connection at the rear of the valve, ensuring it's fully tightened. Verify the pilot flame fully impinges on the thermocouple; if the flame is too small, check the gas pressure, adjust the pilot rate screw, and inspect the pilot head for damage. Check the thermocouple voltage at the valve; it must be greater than 5 mV. If low, replace the thermocouple. Air in the gas line can also cause this issue, so bleed the line and check gas line pressure. Contact your dealer for assistance.

Why are the flames burning dirty in my Enviro FOCUS?
    • B
      Blake MurphyAug 30, 2025
If the flames in your Enviro Indoor Fireplace are burning 'dirty' or sooting, check the log positioning to ensure there is no flame impingement. Increase primary air by opening the venturi shutter and/or by opening the vent restrictor. You may also need to refer to the 'Burners will not remain lit' section for additional troubleshooting steps.

      Dennis MarquezSep 5, 2025
If the main burner of your Enviro Indoor Fireplace doesn't ignite, first, ensure the gas control knob is in the “ON” position.
