Why does the pilot light keep going out on my Enviro Indoor Fireplace?
    • C
      cruzandrewSep 9, 2025
If the pilot light on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, check the thermocouple connection at the rear of the valve and tighten if loose. Ensure the pilot flame fully surrounds the thermocouple; if the flame is too small, check the gas pressure, adjust the pilot rate screw, and inspect the pilot head for damage. Also, verify the thermocouple voltage at the valve is greater than 5 mV; if it's lower, consider replacing the thermocouple. Finally, if the pilot dies while the knob is depressed, there might be air in the gas line, so bleed the line and check the gas line pressure.

Why won't the burners stay lit on my Enviro Indoor Fireplace?
    • L
      Lauren EscobarSep 12, 2025
If the burners on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, check the gas line pressure. Also, ensure the flame is hitting the thermopile correctly; if it's low, refer to the “Pilot will not remain lit” section. Check the thermopile for a minimum of 300 mV when the burner is on, and inspect the wiring to the thermostat for any breaks. For BV ONLY models, check for spillage at the draft hood that might trip the spill switch.

How to fix the spark ignitor on my Enviro Indoor Fireplace?
    • L
      Larry HunterSep 13, 2025
If the spark ignitor on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace fails to light the pilot after repeated attempts, first check the ignitor connections. If the connections are secure but there's still no spark, replace the ignitor. Also, inspect the spark electrode for any broken ceramic insulation; if broken, replace the electrode. Finally, ensure the spark electrode is properly aligned so that the spark arcs from the electrode to the pilot; if misaligned, loosen the screws on the pilot base, adjust, and then tighten them.

If the flames on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace are burning "dirty" or sooting, check the positioning of the logs. You may also need to increase the primary air supply by opening the venturi shutter and/or the vent restrictor. See also the section “Burners will not remain lit.”
