of standard IrDA and IrDA-Ultra.
Data transmission rate 9,600 bps without compression because
communication via GSM is limited to 9,600
bps. With V.42bis compression you can
reach data transmission rates of up to
38,400 bps.

Power consumption Using the built-in modem for infrared com-
munication increases battery consumption
depending on what sort of communication
