Display Language
Most modern SIM cards automatically set the display language to the
language of the country where you bought your SIM card, (
Automatic ).
If this is not the case, the preset language is
English (US) . To change the display
language, see “Display Language” on page 43.
If your phone shows a language that you do not understand, you can change it
to
Automatic ,or English (US) , in the following ways:
To change the display language to Automatic
1. If not in standby mode, press and hold the
NO keytogotostandby.
2. Press the
u arrow key.
3. Enter 8888.
4. Press the
d arrow key.
To change the display language to English (US)
1. If not in standby mode, press and hold the
NO keytogotostandby.
2. Press the
u arrow key.
3. Enter 0000.
4. Press the
d arrow key.
• In standby mode, press and hold the
NO key until you hear a tone.
