3 INTRODUCTION
The MEK 4C is an encapsulated wire feed unit with four roller feed.
The unit provides space for a 300 mm diameter wire reel and has a built--in
positioner.
For a wire feed unit to be complete it must be equipped either with a turnable,
counterbalance device or a carriage. A turnable or counterbalance device allow the
wire feed unit to be mounted on a pivot on the power source. A carriage allows the
wire feed unit to be moved easily over the floor or work table.
A wire feed unit and turnable or carriage can also be fitted with a support device and
suspended over the work place.
