Connections for use as a preamp
Power amplifier
Connect using a set
of only one type.
RCA audio cables
XLR audio cables

Connections
Use commercially-available XLR or RCA cables to connect the analog
output (PRE OUT/REC OUT) connectors on this unit to the analog
input connectors on the power amp.
Settings
Using Settings Menu 3, set the operation mode to PREAMP (page
25).

Precautions when making connections
After completing all other connections, plug the power plug into a
power outlet.
Read the owner’s manuals of all devices that will be connected, and
follow their instructions.
Do not bundle connecting cables with power cords. Doing so could
cause noise.

(EXT. PRE IN) connectors on this unit to the audio output connectors
on the preamp.
