3. If not already in
place, insert one
thumbscrew knob
into each of the
holes in the
grounding strips.
Slightly tighten the
thumbscrew
knobs.
There is no need to ever remove the thumbscrews from the grounding
strips; you may leave them inserted and tightened securely. If you do
remove the thumbscrews, make sure to place them in a safe,
retrievable location.
Tip: The two halves of the counterpoise fit together as shown.
