Overview

This document describes the Euhomy Car Refrigerator, an instruction manual for models CFL-18 and CFL-25. It provides comprehensive information on the product's functions, safety guidelines, operating instructions, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Function Description

The Euhomy Car Refrigerator is designed as a mobile refrigeration system, suitable for various settings such as cars, marine environments, homes, or outdoor use. It incorporates a high-quality DC variable-frequency compressor and drive module, ensuring high efficiency, energy saving, stability, and reliability. The refrigeration system is controlled by a microcomputer intelligent system, allowing for accurate and easy temperature control.

A key feature is its compatibility with multiple power inputs, intelligently recognizing DC 12V/24V voltage. This adaptability makes it versatile for different power sources. The refrigerator also includes voltage-detection and low voltage-protection functions, which are crucial for preventing the car battery from draining and ensuring the vehicle can start normally.

The inner compartment of the refrigerator is constructed from high-grade plastic, emphasizing safety, leakproofness, and odor resistance. For user interaction, the device features intelligent-touch control buttons. Additionally, it includes a child-lock function, designed to prevent accidental changes to settings or potential danger to children.

Usage Features

The refrigerator offers a user-friendly experience with its intelligent control panel. To start the refrigerator, it needs to be connected to the correct DC 12/24V power supply. If in standby mode, pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds initiates startup. After a brief startup delay (1 minute preset by the factory), the compressor begins refrigeration, and the display shows current temperature and working mode.

The control panel has a locking mechanism. If the panel is locked (indicated by a Child Lock icon), it can be unlocked by simultaneously pressing and holding the up and down arrow buttons for 2 seconds. If there's no operation for 20 seconds, the panel automatically locks.

Temperature setting is straightforward: once unlocked, the up or down arrow buttons adjust the temperature by 1 degree. Holding an arrow button allows for rapid adjustment. The set value is automatically saved if no changes occur within 5 seconds. The temperature unit can be selected by pressing and holding the Settings button for 2 seconds, then using the arrow buttons. The temperature control range is from -4°F to 68°F (-20°C to 20°C), with a display range of -22°F to 104°F (-30°C to 40°C).

The compressor operating mode can be switched between "Eco" and "Max" by pressing the Set button when the control panel is unlocked. "Max" mode is for quick cooling to lower temperatures, while "Eco" mode is for refrigeration or storing already cool items to save power.

A crucial usage feature is the low voltage-protection function. This system automatically turns off the compressor if the battery voltage drops below a set value, preventing battery damage or issues with car starting. An "E1" error code will be displayed in such cases. The refrigerator resumes operation within 1 minute once the voltage returns to normal. The factory default protection level is "M" (medium). Users can adjust this level by unlocking the control panel, long-pressing the Set button for 6 seconds, then short-pressing it again. The battery protection-level icons will flash, allowing adjustment with the arrow buttons. For in-car use, setting the protection level to "V=" is recommended to ensure normal car starting.

When using the refrigerator, it's important to place it in a well-ventilated area to facilitate heat dissipation. A gap of at least 3.93 inches between the cooling vent and other objects is necessary to prevent heat buildup and maintain refrigeration efficiency. Users should avoid keeping the door open for extended periods, as warm air can cause frost and reduce efficiency. The product should be used within an ambient temperature range of 32°F to 113°F. It is also advised not to run the refrigerator on a steep incline for prolonged periods, as this can affect its service life and efficiency.

Maintenance Features

Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for the longevity and performance of the Euhomy Car Refrigerator. Before any cleaning, the power supply must be disconnected. The inner and outer surfaces of the refrigerator should be wiped with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of plain water or soapy water. It is critical never to immerse the refrigerator in water or pour water over it, as this can damage the electrical components.

For periods of non-use, it is recommended to clean both the inside and outside of the refrigerator thoroughly and dry it well. Measures should be taken to keep the appliance away from moisture and dust. This helps prevent mildew growth and the formation of foul smells inside the refrigerator, ensuring it remains hygienic and ready for future use.

The manual also provides guidance on troubleshooting common issues, including error codes. For instance, an "E0" code indicates a damaged temperature sensing head, requiring a check or replacement. "E1" signifies low input voltage, prompting a check of the input voltage and adjustment of the battery protection level. "E2" points to a DC fan overcurrent, requiring a check of the cooling fan. "E3" suggests an abnormal compressor start, advising to turn off the power and let it stand for 30 minutes. "E4" indicates abnormal compressor speed, suggesting an adjustment of the compressor operation mode (MAX/ECO). Finally, "E5" denotes a module temperature that is too high, requiring the refrigerator to be moved to a ventilated place to lower the module temperature.

For any issues that cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, users are advised to contact professional personnel or the seller. The Euhomy team is available 24/7 via email at support@euhomy.com or Facebook @Euhomy.Official for support and inquiries.
