Wind speed
On first starting up, the appliance runs in low gear and on the LED display,
the wind speed indicator and [ 1 ] are shown.
• Press the WIND SPEED button, repeatedly, to increase the speed to
medium [ 2 ], high [ 3 ] or strong [ 4 ], and then back to low [ 1 ]. The LED
display will show the wind speed indicator and the corresponding
numbers.
Timer
The heater has an eight-hour timer with which you can set the required
operating time for 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours. The appliance switches
off automatically once the operating time has expired. You can set the timer
when the appliance is operating.
• Press the TIMER button, repeatedly, to set the required operating time:
1h, 2h, 4h or 8h hours. The respective indicator will illuminate.
• If you have set a 4h timer, after two hours have elapsed, the [ 4h ] indicator
will change to the [ 2h ] indicator. At the end of the set operating time, the
appliance will switch to standby automatically.
Switching on/standby
• Set the rocker switch at the back of the appliance to the ON [ I ] position to
set the heater into standby mode. Once electricity is supplied, the heater will
emit two short beep sounds.
In standby mode, only the POWER/STANDBY button will be operational.
All other buttons will be ineffective.
• Press the POWER/STANDBY button (on the remote control or control
panel) to switch on the heater. It will start in default mode (low wind speed,
no heat, no swing, no timer).
• When the heater is operating, press the POWER/STANDBY button to
switch the heater to standby. It will continue to run and then switch to
standby after a few seconds.
NOTE: The appliance will continue to consume power in standby mode.
• To switch the appliance off completely, set the rocker switch to OFF [ O ] and
unplug the cord from the power supply.
LED indicators
All indicators will be dimmed 80% when there is no operation for one minute.
