Oscillation (swing)
The appliance has an oscillation (swing) function, which you can set to help
distribute the air over a larger area. It will work in any mode. Always switch off
the oscillation function before you tilt the appliance upwards and before you
switch off the appliance.
• Switch on the appliance and select the wind speed, as described
previously.
• To start oscillation, press the OSCILLATION button.
• While the appliance is oscillating horizontally, press the OSCILLATION
button to stop oscillation.
Heating
The appliance can be operated on two power levels for heating (1000W or
2000W), or in ECO mode, where the appliance automatically selects the
appropriate setting.
• Low (1000W):
Press the HEATING button for the first time to run the appliance on
the low (1000W) heat setting. The heating indicator will illuminate on the
display and the appliance will start running with medium [ 2 ] wind speed.
• High (2000W):
Press the HEATING button a second time to run the heater on the
high (2000W) heat setting. The heating indicator will change position and
the appliance will start running with high [ 3 ] wind speed.
• ECO: Press the HEATING button a third time to run the heater on the
ECO setting. On this setting the appliance works automatically:
– When the room temperature is below 18°C, the appliance will run on the
high (2000W) heat setting.
– When the room temperature is between 18°C and 22°C, the appliance
will run on the low (1000W) heat setting.
– When the room temperature is higher than 22°C, the appliance will stop
running: first the heating function will stop and 10 seconds later also the
fan function.
• Turnoheating:
Press the HEATING button a fourth time to turn off the heating
function. The warm wind will stop and the appliance returns to fan only
operation (the wind speed remains unchanged in middle gear).
