When Using in Rear-facing Position
The shoulder harness straps MUST ALWAYS be at
or below the child’s shoulders in one of the three
lower harness positions A or B and the child’s head
MUST be at least 1 inch (25 mm) below the top of
the seat back.
When Using in Forward-facing Position
The shoulder harness straps MUST ALWAYS be at
or above the child’s shoulders in one of the three
top harness position B or C. If the top of the child’s
ears are above the top of the seat back, the child’s
shoulders fall above the highest set of harness slots, or
the child weighs more than 40 lbs (18 kg) you MUST
discontinue use of this child restraint. We recommend
that you move your child to a larger child restraint or
booster seat.
