mode(RMS/DC,normal/Harmonic),output mode(RMS/DC conventional start-up
mode/transient start-up mode) and ripple test. For ripple test, users can click in
toolbar or click the shortcut key"F7".
There are two kinds of test: steady state characteristic test and start-up characteristic
test. For steady state characteristic test, there are single test and continuous test.
Single test means only test once, and continuous test means testing until you press the
stop key.
When the instrument is under the state of start-up test, if users turn on "RUNNING",
it will switch to the state of steady state test automatically.
1. Test for adjustment rate and stable value
For power with constant current, users can choose adjustment rate test in the combo
box, and when undergoing stable value test, choose steady state test. And then choose
input voltage and rated load voltage (for constant voltage, choose rated load current)
to do the test. There are single test and continuous test for steady state test, the
methods are as follows:
Method for single test: click "single test" button, or in toolbar, or click "single
test" in test menu, or use the shortcut key "F3".
Method for continuous test: click "continuous test" button, or in toolbar, or click
"continuous test" in test menu, or use the shortcut key "F4".
Stop the test: click "stop" button, or in toolbar, or click "stop testing" in test
menu, or use the shortcut key "F5".
After finishing the test, users can browse all the test data of steady state test.
Under the state of harmonic analysis, there are waveform data for stable input
characteristics. The printed report will display total harmonic data when doing
adjustment rate test with rated input and max load.
