Summary

12-Step Installation Summary

Step 1: Identify Installation Site

Identify main water supply, drain access, electrical outlet, and clearances.

Step 2: Check Water Pressure

Verify water pressure does not exceed 65 psi.

Step 3: Position the Tank

Position the tank level on a solid floor with adequate space.

Step 4: Tighten Valve Head

Ensure the valve head is securely tightened to the tank.

Step 5: Connect Water Lines

Connect water supply and filtered outlet following directional arrows.

Step 6: Connect Drain Line

Connect the drain line to the unit, ensuring an air gap.

Step 7: Fill Tank Slowly

Fill the tank slowly by partially opening the inlet valve.

Step 8: Connect Electrical Power

Connect the unit to a dedicated, unswitched electrical outlet.

Step 9: Set Time of Day

Set the current time on the digital valve display.

Step 10: Backwash and Flush System

Perform a proper backwash and flush until water runs clear.

Step 11: Open Outlet Valve

Slowly open the outlet valve and check all plumbing connections.

Step 12: Flush Pipes and Heaters

Flush pipes and water heaters by running water through all faucets.
