Why won't the burner light on my EXPERT GRILL Grill using the igniter?
    • P
      pamelasantosAug 14, 2025
If the burner on your EXPERT GRILL Grill isn't lighting with the igniter, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the LP gas tank valve is open and the regulator is securely attached. A low or empty LP gas tank can also prevent ignition, so exchange, refill, or replace the tank. Cooking residue on the wires or electrode can interfere with the spark, so clean them with rubbing alcohol. Similarly, if the electrode and burners are wet, wipe them dry with a cloth. If the electrode is cracked or broken, or if the wire is loose, disconnected, or shorting, replacement parts may be needed.

What to do if there is no gas flow in my EXPERT GRILL XG14-101-002-01 Grill?
    • C
      Christine JamesAug 17, 2025
If you're experiencing no gas flow in your EXPERT GRILL Grill, there are several potential causes. Make sure that your LP gas tank isn't low or empty by exchanging, refilling, or replacing it. Ensure the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected, tightening by hand until you reach a solid stop. Check for any obstructions in the gas flow by clearing the burner/venturi tube and inspecting the hose for bends or kinks. Also, verify the burner is properly engaged with the valve. Finally, make sure that there are no spider webs or insect nests in the venturi and that the burner ports are not clogged or blocked.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my EXPERT GRILL Grill?
    • S
      Stephen StewartAug 27, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your EXPERT GRILL Grill could be due to several reasons. If it's a new burner, it may have residual manufacturing oils; burn the grill for 15 minutes on high. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi, or food residue/grease on the burners, can also cause this issue, so clean these components. Lastly, ensure the burner/venturi tube is properly engaged with the valve.
