Positioning Heatmaps
ExtremeCloud Appliance Floor Plans view oers Positioning heat maps to illustrate optimal device
location and client foot trac. The following Positioning maps are available:
•
Location Readiness. Predicted location quality.
•
Foot Trac (Supported on AP39xx only).
Manage Location Tracking with AP76xx and AP8xxx using ExtremeLocation. For more information,
see ExtremeLocation Profile Settings on page 79.
To access the Positioning maps from the floor plan view:
1 Display an available floor plan.
2 From the right panel, click Positioning.
3 To activate a map, click the ball and drag to the right.
4 To show clients, select either Show Associated Clients or Show Unassociated Clients.
Note
If your Positioning Profile is configured to track only active clients, you will not be able to
see unassociated clients on the map.
