OPERATION
Deactivate cooking zones
Deactivate cooking zone by doing one of the following:
• Turn o the hob with the sensor.
• Touch and hold the sensor for 3 seconds
• Touch to activate the cooking zone and slide to the left to reduce the heat setting "0."
Turnotheappliance
The appliance operates when at least one cooking zone is on.
• Turn o the hob with the sensor.
If a cooking zone is still hot, the relevant display will show the letter "H” or “h” to indicate
residual heat. For description of the symbol, see below.
Booster function "P"
Booster function increases the power of the 220x190 mm cooking zone from 2200W to
3700W, and Bridge cooking zone (220 x 390 mm) from 3600W to 5500W.
• Place the cookware on the desired cooking zone.
• The cookware will be automatically detected and the relevant display will show as-
hing "0."
• Touch to activate the Booster function — the display will show the letter “P”.
Turn o the Booster function:
• Touch the sensor and slide your nger to “0” to turn o the Booster function.
Booster function can be activated for up to 10 minutes. After that time, the cooking zone
heat setting is set to the nominal power (for example, if the heat setting range is 0-9, the
nominal power is 9, if the range is 0-12, the nominal power is 12, etc.).
This function can also switch back to the nominal power, if any hob components overheat.
You can reactivate the Booster function when the internal components cool down to safe ran-
ge. This function will not start automatically.
When you take the pot o the cooking zone when the Booster function in on, a 10-minute
countdown will not be interrupted.
