NOTE: Falex does not guarantee the use of any printer
with its software other than the one shipped with the unit.
D. Set PC Time: This button takes you out to
Windows Control Panel that allows you to
navigate to 'Date & Time'. Once you set the
correct date and time, return to the Main
screen. Select the 'Run Test' button, when
the 'Run Test' screen opens the HMI date
and time will update.
Note: If you have a USB keyboard attached
to the instrument, press the 'Windows' key to
open the Task Bar. Change the Date & Time
by accessing it from the lower right area.
E. ASTM
Temperature: This is where a default
test temperature can be stored
for all ASTM
tests. For instance, some specifications
require 270ºC rather than the default value of
260ºC.
Section 5: Software Preferences
C. Install Printer: Pressing the 'Install Printer'
button will initate the Windows Control Panel.
Select the 'Printers and Faxes' icon in the
Windows Control Panel and then select 'Add
Printer'. Users can install a printer driver from
a flash drive or a portable USB disk drive.
Note: An HP Printer was set up on ths
instrument before shipment, contact your
Falex Representative for more details.
