WARNING
AVOID BURNS
Hydraulic fluid, tubes, fittings and quick
couplers can get hot when running equipment.
Be careful when connecting and disconnecting
quick couplers.
WARNING
HIGH PRESSURE FLUID HAZARD
To prevent serious injury or death from high
pressure fluid:
• Relieve pressure on system before repairing or
adjusting.
• Wear proper hand and eye protection when
searching for leaks. Use wood or cardboard
instead of hands.
• Keep all components in good repair.
Connecting Hydraulic Hoses
Tedders are equipped with a hydraulic wing lift
system.

Push the male couplers into female couplers on
the tractor until they are fully engaged and locked
[Figure 11].
Note: Make sure the quick couplers are fully
engaged. If the quick couplers do not fully
engage, check to see that the couplers are
the same size and type.
IMPORTANT
Contain and dispose of any oil leakage in an
environmentally safe manner.
Thoroughly clean the quick couplers before
making connections. Dirt can quickly damage
the system.
Release pressure and pull the male couplers out to
disconnect.
