A
one
milli
amp
f.s.d.
meter
is
used
to
monitor
the
output
voltage
or
current.
SW3
in
the
volts
position
connects
the
meter
in
series
with
Rl3
and
T5,
(between
positive
and
negative
output
terminals).
T5
is
set
to
give
f.s.d.
on
the
meter
at
3O
volts.
With
SW3
in
the
current
position
the
meter
(with
T4
in
series)
senses
the
voltage
across
Rl6.
T4
is
set
to
give
f.s.d.
on
the
meter
with
an
output
current
of
1
amp
on
model
E3O/l
and
2 amps
on
mode
ls
E30/2
and
ET30/2.

Guarantee
The
equipment
supplied
by
Farnell
Instruments
Ltd.,
is
guar
an
teed
against
defective
material
and
faulty
manufacture
for
a
period
of
twelve
months
from
the
date
of
despatch.
In
case
of
material
or
Components
employed
in
the
equipment
but
not
manufactured
by
us,
we
allow
the
customer
the
period
of
any
guarantee
extended
to
us.
The
equipment
has
been
carefully
inspected
and
submitted
to
compre
hensive
tests
at
the
factory
prior
to
despatch.
If,

period,
any
defect
is
discovered
in
the
equipment
in
res
pect
of
material
or
wOrkmanship
and
reasonably
within
our
control,
we
undertake
to
make
good
the
defect
at
our
own
expense
subject
to
our
standard
conditions

circumstances
and
at
the discretion
of
the Service Manager, a
charge
for
labour
and

event

malfunction,
it
is
advisable

Service
Department

your

overseas)
for
advice before
attemp
ting
repairS.
For
repairs
it
is
recommended
that
the
complete
unit
be
returned
