The TSV 70 laboratory bench power supply is a source of stabilised d.c. voltage
continuously variable over two ranges, 0 to 70 volts at 0 to 5 Amps or 0 to 35 volts
at 0 to 10 Amps, selected by a switch.
A switch isolates the output voltage which may be selected by coarse and fine
controls prior to connection to the load. Conversely the load may be disconnected by
the same switch without switching off the mains supply. Output voltage and current
are monitored independently by dual scale meters.
Remote sensing facilities are provided to ensure optimum performance when sup
plying distant loads. Overload protection is by adjustable constant current limiting.
The use of forced air cooling and the latest components and production techniques
has helped to reduce size and weight without resorting to switching techniques.
The specification is consequently very good and the unit does not generate radio
frequency interference.A rack mounting version, the TSV 70R, is available to special
order.
