The
E30
laboratory
bench
power
supplies
each
offer
a
wide
choice
of
voltage
and
current
ranges
selected
by
means
of
a
push
button
switch.
The
E30/1
provides
a
stabilised
output
of
0
to
30
volts
at
0.5
amps
or
O
to
15
volts
at
1
amp.
The
E30/2
provides
the
same
ranges
but
twice
the
current
and
the
ET30/2
is
a
twin
output
version
of
the
E30/2.
A
push
button
switch
selects
the
required
meter
scale
to
display
either
voltage
or
current
and
a
similar
switch
puts
the
unit
on
or
off.
Coarse
and
fine
potentiometers
provide
precise
control
over
the
continuously
variable
output.
The
units
are
protected
against
progressive
and
sudden
overloads
by
electronic
current
limiting
preset
at
110%
of
the
maximum
current
on
the
range
employed.
In
operation,
this
circuit
limits
the
current
that
may
be
drawn
from
the
unit.
With
progressive
overload
the
voltage
output
falls
while
the
current
remains
approX
imately
constant.
On
removal
of
overload
the
output
will
reset
to
its
original
voltage.
Being
low
cost,
compact
units
extremely
simple
to
operate
and
protected
against
accidental
short
circuit,
the
E30
power
supplies
are
the
ideal
choice
for
both
indus
trial
and
educational
laboratories,
especially
those
with
rather
limited
financial
budgets.
