Why is the compressor on my FBD Dispenser not starting?
    • A
      Ashley PierceDec 1, 2025
If the compressor on your FBD Dispenser isn't starting, here's what you can check: 1. Ensure the correct start procedure is followed by pressing “Def”, then “Run” to start. 2. Check if “Run Beater” or “Def Beater” indicates a delay mode. 3. Verify pressure readouts are at 70-72 psi, and adjust regulators if necessary. 4. Test the start capacitor and start relay, and replace if necessary. 5. In Manual On/Off, briefly activate the “Compressor” (DO NOT RUN FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS!). Check voltage across contactor T1 and T2 for 220 volts. If no voltage, replace contactor. If the contactor does not energize, check voltage across contactor coil terminals for 24VAC. If voltage is present, replace contactor. 6. Test the relay board for 24VAC output and 5VDC input on the contactor relay. Re...

What to do if product does not flow freely from FBD Dispenser?
    • Z
      Zachary BurtonAug 25, 2025
If the product from your FBD Dispenser does not flow freely or doesn't flow at all, you can try the following: 1. Inspect the CO2 check valve and clean or replace it. 2. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the CO2 and solution solenoid and check for 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid, if necessary. 3. Run a defrost cycle. If necessary, open and close the dispensing valve several times or run warm water over the valve. 4. Check water/syrup flow rates and brix and adjust, if necessary. Check the Level Control setting and adjust if necessary. Check the Thaw/Freeze settings and adjust if necessary. Defrost the chamber, ensure it is filled to 90%, then press "Run".

Why is my FBD Dispenser chamber filling even when turned off?
    • J
      jonescraigAug 27, 2025
If the chamber of your FBD Dispenser continues to fill even when the unit is turned off, the issue might be: * Solution solenoid plunger sticking. * Solution solenoid energized. * Solution solenoid left “ON” in “Manual”. To resolve this: 1. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the solenoid and check for 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid, if necessary. 2. Test the solenoid relay on the relay board for 24VAC output and 5VDC relay coil input. Replace the Relay Board, if necessary. 3. In “Manual On/Off”, turn the solenoid off.

How to troubleshoot low water pressure in FBD Dispenser?
    • E
      Evelyn NielsenAug 27, 2025
To troubleshoot low or no water pressure in your FBD Dispenser: 1. Ensure the water is turned on and check for any line restrictions. 2. Verify that the CO2 is turned on and the "CO2 Press" readout is at 70-72 PSIG (482.6-496.4 KPa). 3. Check that the "H2O Pressure" readout is at 70-75 psi. Check the transducer and replace it if needed. 4. Check the water pump and replace it if necessary.

What does it mean when the LCD on my FBD Dispenser shows low line voltage?
    • C
      cruzdanielSep 9, 2025
A low line voltage reading on the LCD of your FBD Dispenser indicates: * Low voltage to the unit (below 215 volts). * Incorrect voltage offset. To resolve this: 1. Check the voltage at L1 & L2 of the contactor and at the wall receptacle. Install a Buck/Boost transformer if necessary. 2. Access the “Machine Settings” menu and adjust the voltage offset so the "Line Voltage" readout equals the L1 and L2 contactor voltage.

What causes a noisy condenser fan in FBD Dispenser?
    • J
      Jennifer CombsSep 6, 2025
A noisy condenser fan in your FBD Dispenser can be caused by: * The fan contacting the condenser, fan blade guard, or another part. * An unbalanced fan blade. * Loose fan bracket fasteners. To address this: 1. Remove the fan guard and adjust the fan up or down as required. Remove any obstructions as necessary. Reinstall the fan guard. 2. Remove the fan guard, slide the fan blade weights (on 3 blades) to balance the fan. Replace the fan if necessary. Reinstall the fan guard. 3. Tighten any loose fasteners.
