What causes low beater counts on the FBD Dispenser?
    • K
      kimberlybrownSep 12, 2025
Low beater counts on your FBD Dispenser can be due to: * The chamber being frozen too hard or solid. * Lower motor control board failure. * Beater motor capacitor. * Beater motor problem. To address this: 1. Verify correct brix, Level Control, and Thaw/Freeze settings. Defrost the chamber, refill to 90%, and refreeze. 2. Replace the lower board. 3. Check the motor capacitor and replace it if necessary. 4. Replace the beater motor.

What to do if the FBD Dispenser is out of product?
    • M
      Mariah RobertsonAug 22, 2025
If your FBD Dispenser displays an 'Out of Product' message, first, ensure that the water is turned on, the CO2 supply is not empty or turned off, and the syrup container is not empty and properly connected. Second, check all lines for crimps or restrictions. Then, check the pressure readouts (H2O, CO2, and Syrups) and adjust regulators if the pressure is not at 70-72psi. Finally, inspect all pumps and replace them if necessary.

What causes a noisy condenser fan in FBD Dispenser?
    • J
      Jennifer CombsSep 6, 2025
A noisy condenser fan in your FBD Dispenser can be caused by: * The fan contacting the condenser, fan blade guard, or another part. * An unbalanced fan blade. * Loose fan bracket fasteners. To address this: 1. Remove the fan guard and adjust the fan up or down as required. Remove any obstructions as necessary. Reinstall the fan guard. 2. Remove the fan guard, slide the fan blade weights (on 3 blades) to balance the fan. Replace the fan if necessary. Reinstall the fan guard. 3. Tighten any loose fasteners.

Why is the compressor on my FBD Dispenser running for a long time but not freezing?
    • B
      Brian McdonaldSep 4, 2025
If the compressor on your FBD Dispenser runs for a long time but does not freeze, check the following: 1. Verify that the Return Temperature drops below 20°F. The Return Temperature should achieve 20°F within 7 to 25 minutes of startup (no drinks dispensed). 2. Ensure that airflow through the condenser is not blocked. Clear any blockage and clean the air filter. 3. If the hot gas valve is activated in Manual On/Off, select "Defrost Sol" in “Manual ON/OFF”; test the solenoid, then turn it off.

How do I resolve solenoids continuously activated on FBD Dispenser?
    • M
      Mr. Ryan MontgomerySep 2, 2025
If the solenoids on your FBD Dispenser are continuously activated: 1. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the solenoid on and off, checking for plunger movement and 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid, if necessary. 2. Test the solenoid relay on the Relay Board for 24VAC output and 5VDC relay coil input. Replace the Relay Board, if necessary. 3. Observe "Tank Pressure" readouts and check the corresponding transducer. Replace the transducer, if necessary.
