screw on the hook and taking it off.

User tips
When driving screws into wood, metal and other
materials:
• Beforeusingtheappliancecheckifthedrillor
screw bit is properly fitted and centered inside
the drill chuck.
• Screwbitsareavailableinseveralshapesand
dimensions. When unsure, always try if the bit
fits on the screw head without any free play
before using the machine.
• Makesurethemachineisnotrunningwhen
it contacts the screw. A rotating bit may slip.
This could result in damage to the work piece.
When drilling into wood, metal and other
materials:
• Withsmalldiameterdrillsuseahighdrill
speed. For large diameter drills use a low drill
speed.
• Forhardmaterials,selectalowdrillspeed,for
soft materials select a high drill speed.
• Fixtheworkpieceproperly,preferablyby
using a clamp or vice.
• Duringdrillingdrawbackthedrilloutofthe
hole frequently so swarf or drill dust will be
removed.
When drilling in metal:
• Useametaldrill(HSS).Forthebestresultsyou
should cool the bit with oil.
• Metal(HSS)drillscanalsobeuseddrillinginto
plastic.
4. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always
switch off the machine and remove the
battery pack from the machine.
Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that
the ventilation openings are free of dust and
dirt.Removeverypersistentdirtusingasoft
cloth moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any
solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia,
etc. Chemicals such as these will damage the
synthetic components.

The warranty conditions can be found on the
separately enclosed warranty card.
ENVIRONMENT
Faulty and/or discarded electrical or
electronic apparatus have to be collected
at the appropriate recycling locations.
Only for EC countries
Do not dispose of power tools into domestic
waste. According to the EUropean Guideline
2012/19/EU for Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment and its implementation into national
right, power tools that are no longer usable must
be collected separately and disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way.
