ment: Ear protection, safety goggles, a dust
mask for work that generates dust, and
protective gloves when working with raw
materials and when changing tools.
CAUTION! Power tool can jam and cause
sudden kickback! Switch off immediately!
– Hold the power tool firmly in your hand.
Make sure the speed is adjusted correctly
when screwdriving. Be prepared for a high
reaction torque, which may cause the pow
er tool to turn and possibly lead to injury.
– Do not use the power tool in the rain or in
damp surroundings. Moisture in the power
tool may cause a short circuit and fire.
– Do not lock the on/off switch in place per
manently.
– Connecting the magazine attachment and
drywall screwdriver results in a tool for
which the safety warnings and instructions
of the drywall screwdriver apply.
– Do not use power supply units or third-
party battery packs to operate cordless
power tools. Do not use third-party charg
ers to charge the battery packs. The use of
accessories not expressly authorised by the
manufacturer can result in electric shocks
and/or serious accidents.
Follow the operating manual for the charger
and the battery pack.

known (to the State of California) to cause can
cer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
– lead from lead-based paints,
– crystalline silica from bricks and cement
and other masonry products, and
– arsenic and chromium from chemically
treated lumber.
The risk from these expo
sures varies, depending on
how often you do this type of
work. To reduce your expo
sure to these chemicals:
work in a well ventilated
area, and work with approved safety equipment,
such as dust masks that are specially designed
to filter out microscopic particles. Wash hands
after handling.

– Screwdriving gypsum fibre board to metal
or wooden constructions using drywall
screws with milling ribs
– Screwdriving chipboard/OSB to wooden
constructions with wood screws and chip
board screws up to a diameter of 5 mm
(3/16")
DWC 18-4500
– Screwdriving plaster boards onto metal
profile bars (≤ 0.88 mm (1/32")) using dry
wall screws with a fine thread
– Screwdriving plaster boards onto metal
profile bars (≤ 2.25 mm (3/32")) using dry
wall screws with a drill point
– Screwdriving plaster boards to wooden
constructions using drywall screws with a
coarse thread
This power tool is suitable for use with
BP Festool battery packs of the same voltage
class.
