EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH CATALYTIC
CONVERTER
Removing-refitting
- Position the vehicle on a lift.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Detach the exhaust manifold heat shield as
described in the appropriate paragraph.
1.
Disconnect the electrical connection for the
front Lambda sensor and release the wiring
from the bands.
2.
Disconnect the electrical connection for the
rear Lambda snsor and release the wiring
from the retaining bands.
Undo the nuts
cylinder head.
fixing the manifold to the
Undo the nuts fixing the catalytic converter
to the rear section of the exhaust manifold,
undo the bolt for the mounting bracket and
detach the exhaust manifold with the cata-
lytic converter.
