What to do if my Finex FX300 Paint Sprayer is spitting?
    • C
      Chad HarrisonAug 4, 2025
Spitting in your Finex Paint Sprayer can occur if air is getting into the paint stream. This may happen if: * The cup is almost empty, so fill the cup. * The needle packing is dry, so loosen the packing seat and put a few drops of machine oil on the packing, then retighten the seat. * The fluid nozzle is too loose, so tighten it. * There is dried material between the nozzle and gun body, so clean the nozzle and front of the gun. * The needle seal is damaged, so replace the seal.

Why won't my Finex Paint Sprayer spray?
    • T
      Timothy WeberAug 8, 2025
Your Finex Paint Sprayer might not spray due to several reasons: * There is no air pressure at the gun, so check the air supply and air lines. * The cup is empty, so fill the cup. * The fluid adjustment knob is turned too far to the right, so adjust the knob to the left. * The fluid is too thick for gravity feed, so thin the material.

How to fix fluid nozzle dripping on Finex FX300?
    • M
      Maria AvilaAug 13, 2025
If the fluid nozzle on your Finex Paint Sprayer is dripping, it could be due to: * Dry packing, so lubricate it. * A sluggish needle, so clean and lubricate it. * The packing nut being too tight, so loosen it. * A worn fluid nozzle or needle, so replace them.

What to do if fluid is leaking from packing nut on Finex Paint Sprayer?
    • G
      georgebenjaminAug 17, 2025
If fluid is leaking from the packing nut on your Finex Paint Sprayer, it could be because: * The packing nut is loose, so tighten it, but not so tight as to grip the needle. * The packing is worn or dry, so lubricate or replace it.

Why does my Finex FX300 leave a thin, coarse finish?
    • M
      Mark FrostAug 22, 2025
A thin, coarse finish with your Finex Paint Sprayer can result from: * Holding the gun too far from the surface, so hold the gun about 6-8 inches (150-200 mm) from the surface. * The atomization air pressure being set too high, so reduce the air pressure.
  • J
    joseph23Aug 26, 2025
Why is my Finex FX300 leaving a thick, dimpled finish?
    • D
      Dawn NolanAug 26, 2025
A thick, dimpled finish (resembling orange peel) when using your Finex Paint Sprayer is likely because the gun is held too close to the surface. Hold the gun about 6-8 inches (150-200 mm) from the surface.

How to clean a dirty air cap on Finex FX300 Paint Sprayer?
    • B
      Brian JacksonAug 29, 2025
To address a dirty or clogged air cap on your Finex Paint Sprayer, clean the air cap orifices and blow air through the orifices until clean. If the air cap holes are damaged, replace the air cap.
